OPEN HOUSE AND CLASS RECITAL

December 12 - 16

Great Russian Nutcracker

Open House is a great way for you and your family to share the experience of your dancers new talents and achievements.

During normal class time, family and friends are welcomed into the classroom for a special class demonstration and lecture as well as a small intimate class recital. Open house was designed and intended for a couple of reasons. First, for the younger dancers, it gives them the opportunity to perform in front of a small and familiar audience. This gives them the confidence and self-esteem to accomplish larger performances in the future. For all of our parents, Open House gives you a peek into the teachers plans for the dancers and where they are in their training. The teacher will explain what the dancers are currently learning and what can be expected in the future. They will also go into detail on how and why the dancers are doing what they are doing and how it all blends into their long term training and education.

As always, lots of questions and comments are welcome during Open House. This is a great opportunity for you as the parents to ask those questions that may have a technical basis or maybe just “why do they do that?”

Camcorders, cameras and friends/guests are welcome. We hope you enjoy the experience.

Each student will receive a Christmas present from BNWA during Open House!
