Although we really do our best to plan our schedule ahead so you can too, the dates and times are subject to change. Please look for more information as we get closer to the events on our What's New page. For planning purposes, we use the 4-J school system calendar which closely match most of the other districts in the Eugene/Springfield area.
Weather Related Closures: For consistency and safety reasons, BNWA follows the 4J school system for all weather related closures. Free make-up classes will be offered to students that miss a class due to weather. Note: We will remain closed the entire day. We are aware that sometimes the weather gets better throughout the day, but the roads commonly ice over again in the evenings.
Pro-Rated Tuition : Pro-rated tuition is offered to new students entering into the academy during initial registration. Tuition is averaged over the academic year based on 4 classes per month per class. Sometimes classes meet 5 times in a month and some classes meet only 3 times a month due to breaks and holidays. BNWA offers free make up classes for breaks and holidays but does not charge any extra for the months in which classes meet 5 times.
Make Up Classes : Did you know.. Make up classes may also be made up in any style of dance at your dancer's level. For instance, if you dancer had a make up class for Jazz 1, he/she could make up in Ballet 1, Tap 1, Hip Hop 1 or Musical Theatre 1! Please let the teacher and front desk know if you are planning on taking a make up class in their class. Our make up policy requires all classes are made up within 2 weeks prior too the missed class (grandma is coming into town) or within 2 weeks after the class (sick). The reason for this is so the dancer can keep up with the curriculum. It is always best to make up in the same style of dance for this reason but are welcome to explore other styles of dance as well.
